Leakage current sensor is a device that converts the measured AC microcurrent and DC isolation into linear proportional DC current, DC voltage and other standard analog signals or RS485 digital signals according to the working principle of transformer electromagnetic isolation and magnetic modulation. It is widely used for real-time monitoring of the insulation of buses and branches in DC and AC power supply systems.
The leakage current sensor is installed around the positive and negative output lines of the DC circuit. When the device is running, the signals output by the sensors of the branches are detected in real time. When the branch insulation is normal, the current flowing through the sensors is equal and the direction is opposite, and its output The signal is zero; when the branch is grounded, a differential current flows through the leakage current sensor, and the output of the sensor is not zero. Therefore, by detecting the output signal of each branch sensor, the grounding branch of the DC system can be judged. This principle has high line selection accuracy and is not affected by the distributed capacitance of the line.
